Practice
Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy involves regularly scheduled sessions. After an initial three or four consultation sessions, the client and the therapist evaluate if the therapist’s approach is a good fit for the client. The frequency of the sessions is also discussed depending on the client’s needs and it can be readjusted over the course of the treatment.
In my practice, I use psychoanalytic/psychodynamic approach to assist clients become aware of certain unconscious conflicts and understand specific patterns. I help clients get to know themselves in a way they had never thought of before. Most clients come to therapy with delicate issues and difficulties. Treating these sensitive areas carefully is very important. Therefore, therapy can sometimes be a long but enriching process.
